Local Strawberries, Home-Made Scones, Local Art, and a plant stall!
Linton Cream Teas has been appearing every year for twelve years now, and every single year it has got bigger, better, and has increased in popularity. This year's event was a great success despite indifferent weather, and already we have ideas for new things to do next year which will add to the event.
The 2013 Cream Teas will take place on Saturday 15 June, and Sunday 16 June, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm...
This is one of the social highlights of the Linton year, a "must attend" event. Enjoy our famous strawberry cream teas, with Linton strawberries and home made scones. Buy cakes or buns to take away. Look around the church, or enjoy the sunshine outside at the tables provided.
In addition to the church itself you will once again be able to view an exhibition of art by local artists, with items for viewing and for sale. And the plant stall will also be returning this year, by popular request..
The venue is Linton Church, Linton Hill. Admission is free and plenty of free parking is available. There is a map, here.
All monies raised are used by Friends of Linton Church to maintain the church fabric & contents...

Can you help us, please? A poster for this year's event can be downloaded from here .. can you please put one up, somewhere prominent, outside your house, or a local shop or community centre, perhaps? Shops don't charge for displaying a charity poster, just ask.. and the more who know our event is on, the more who will come and contribute to maintaining our church...
