Linton Walkers' Outing to Beachy Head

Linton Walkers had a wonderful day out at Beachy Head...

Eighteen members of the Linton Walkers had an outing to Beachy Head on Sunday, 5th July 2009. They assembled at Birling Gap car park, and set off around 11am to walk the 2 1/2 miles or so up the cliffs to Beachy Head. After admiring the extensive views some had a picnic lunch, and some visited the Beachy Head Inn before returning in due course to Birling Gap.
The sun shone brightly for most of the day, the scenery was magnificent and I think it is fair to say that everyone had a wonderful time...
