The Annual Meeting of the Parish of Linton.

This is not a Parish Council meeting, though the PC organise it. It is a meeting for all residents of Linton – and anyone else who is interested in Linton, resident or not – to come and hear what the PC has been up to over the past year. There will also be reports from the Chairman of the Village Hall Trustees, the Footpaths and Trees Warden, the Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator, the Webmaster, and the Allotments Manager.

We will also have TWO guest speakers this year:

– Matthew Crook, who was appointed last year as Conservation Officer for Maidstone, will give us an update on the longstanding review of the Linton Conservation Area, and give us an update on where this is headed, hopefully towards its conclusion

– and David Sendles, who was appointed this year as the official Linton Archivist, will tell us about his job and the history of Linton .. After that there will be an open question and answer session, so far as time permits.

Please do attend this meeting if you can – it is democracy in action and it deserves your support.

Light refreshments will be served after the meeting.
